Privacy Policy
BlobShift (“we”, “us”) operates blobshift.com, app.blobshift.com, and related APIs and SDKs. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our services.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — email address, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers (including from Google or other identity providers you choose).
- Project & billing data — organization/project metadata, API key identifiers (not full secrets after creation), and billing contact details when you subscribe.
- Asset metadata — filenames, content types, sizes, processing status, and URLs for objects you upload. File contents are stored to deliver your assets via our CDN.
- Usage & logs — API request metadata, request IDs, IP addresses, user agents, and error diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve BlobShift (uploads, image processing, CDN delivery, console).
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, and enforce plan limits.
- Communicate about the service (transactional email, security notices).
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
3. Sharing
We use subprocessors for infrastructure (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and authentication). We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and our users.
4. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and as needed for backups, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Processed image assets are retained according to your plan (for example, 7 days on Free and 30 days on paid plans) and then deleted; you may also delete assets earlier via the console or API. You may request account closure via the console or support@blobshift.com.
5. Security
We apply industry-standard controls appropriate to a managed image processing and delivery service (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. International transfers
BlobShift currently operates production infrastructure in AWS ap-south-1. If you access the service from other regions, your data may be processed in that region.
7. Your choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact support@blobshift.com.
8. Children
BlobShift is not directed to children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

11. Google account data (OAuth sign-in)
If you sign in to BlobShift with Google, we receive your Google account email address, basic profile name, and a unique subject identifier so we can authenticate you and create or link your BlobShift account. We use this data only to provide BlobShift sign-in and account management. We do not sell Google user data. See also our Terms of Service.
